Circular Food Economy – ALL IN Eats

Introduction

A Circular Food Economy grows nourishing food, designs out waste and pollution, regenerates natural ecosystems, keeps economics local, and prioritizes equity. The Alameda County Circular Food Economy engages people, organizations, and County agencies in a virtuous cycle that feeds into the wellness, sustainability, food security, community resilience, and economic empowerment of Alameda County. ALL IN Eats, which was launched in 2020, is the newest initiative of ALL IN Alameda County in deep partnership with the Alameda County Deputy Sheriffs’ Activities League (DSAL) and Alameda County Supervisors Offices of Wilma Chan and Dave Brown (District 3).

Effective July 1, 2022, ALL IN Eats operations transitioned to the DSAL. To learn more about how DSAL is operationalizing the ALL IN Eats Business Plan across the county, please visit the DSAL website.  ALL IN Staff continue to explore how to support community partners contributing to the circular food economy.
